SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: Are you an experienced IT professional ready to take on challenges in a complex academic health care setting? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment centered on solving complex and important problems that have the chance to improve the lives of patients and their families? We are seeking a mission-oriented and skilled Senior Project Manager, Infrastructure, to join our Information Services for Research group at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. In this role, you will work with our teams of experienced architects and engineers to deliver solutions to our researchers and research community at Cincinnati Children's.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

What You'll Do:

As a Senior Project Manager, Infrastructure, the ideal candidate will bring strong leadership and project management skills to the team, with a focus on both internal and vendor collaborations. They will coordinate and help prioritize work for the teams they directly support, manage vendor relationships, and demonstrate sufficient technical expertise to make informed decisions without a technical lead present. The candidate should have a background in infrastructure and hardware, be technically savvy with helpful IT knowledge, manage multiple projects simultaneously, oversee backlogs and future enhancements, and effectively communicate with stakeholders as part of project intake and management. Additionally, they will be responsible for setting up meetings, coordinating activities, building and familiarizing with dashboards in ServiceNow, systematically approaching infrastructure project management, maintaining thorough documentation, and planning focused meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder management, including identifying and engaging with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to gather requirements, communicate status and manage expectations.
  • Infrastructure Project Management and Planning, including developing detailed plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resourcing requirements.
  • Effective Resource Management, including backlog management, updating and creating project tasks and operational work plans for individuals within the ServiceNow system.
  • Meeting Management and Coordination
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at any given time.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE


Required:
·Bachelor's degree in a related field
·5 years of work experience in a related job discipline
