Job Summary
Welcome to Empowerment Counseling Services
Empowerment Counseling Services has been providing innovative counseling services with adults, families and youth for over 25 years. Join our team! We have two positions available in Salt Lake County, and Davis County/Weber County. Interns currently in accredited master degree programs may be considered. Supervision is available.
Flexible schedule, friendly environment, great compensation! This position is ideal for individuals who like a flexible schedule, are motivated, and self-disciplined. Some afternoons and evenings may be required.
Masters Level: Starting Pay: $70,000/yr
Fully Licensed: Starting pay: $88,000/yr
Responsibilities
Include, but not limited to:
  • Provide services to clients within the home, office, community, or teletherapy
  • Providing mental health assessment, treatment planning, and counseling
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan progress and outcomes
  • Provide continuous evaluation of the effectiveness of treatment through ongoing assessment resulting in modification to the service plan
  • Working collaboratively with our clinical team to coordinate care to ensure that all services prescribed in the individualized service plan are implemented
  • Participate in case staffing, case conferences, or other meetings with or without the client
  • Provide supportive services, including but not limited to, the following: Assistance in maintaining, monitoring and modifying covered behavioral health services
  • Perform intake assessments
  • Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children
  • Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
  • Adhere to all facility and licensing standards

Qualifications
  • Master Level Clinician: MFT, CSW, CMHC
  • Fully Licensed Clinicians: LMFT, LCSW, CMHC
  • Bachelors degree in counseling, social work, or similar field
  • Current and unrestricted marriage and family therapy license
  • Licensed by the State of Utah
  • Previous experience as a mental health therapist preferred
  • In addition effective interpersonal skills, ability to follow instructions, good written and verbal communication skills, time management skills
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certified
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized
