Job description

The National Aviation Hall of Fame is seeking an enthusiastic, creative person to serve as an Innovation Lab Educator in the Joe Clark Innovation Lab at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force.


This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and families, hands-on learning, STEM, aviation, and creating memorable educational experiences.


The Innovation Lab Educator will:

  • Facilitate hands-on aviation and STEM activities
  • Engage visitors of all ages in interactive experiments and projects
  • Encourage curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving
  • Help visitors explore the science, technology, and engineering behind flight
  • Create a welcoming, safe, and fun learning environment
  • Work across 7–8 interactive activity stations designed for family engagement

  • Part-Time Position: Two 4-hour shifts per week, September–November, with the potential for the position to continue beyond November.


    We are particularly interested in retired educators, current or former teachers, college students, STEM professionals, aviation enthusiasts, and individuals with experience in museums, camps, youth programs, engineering, or informal education.


    Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who enjoys connecting with people and is passionate about helping kids discover something new.
