INNOCEAN USA, a full-service advertising agency, is looking for an Account Executive, Experiential to join our Kia Sports & Experiential Team!

We are a hybrid workplace, x3 days week in-office. Candidates must be local to SoCal.

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
The INNOCEAN Kia Sports & Experiential team supports Kia America Inc. through the development and execution of immersive brand experiences that bring Kia’s innovation, design, and purpose-driven story to life. This position supports Kia America Inc.’s experiential marketing and sponsorship portfolio — spanning sports, entertainment, and lifestyle partnerships. From large-scale venue partnerships to fan-engagement activations, the team delivers high-impact moments that connect Kia with audiences nationwide. As a fully integrated unit within the INNOCEAN agency, the team also works across other departments like Brand, Creative, Media, Social, and Digital.

POSITION OVERVIEW
As a core member of INNOCEAN’S Experiential Department, the Account Executive collaborates with a cross departmental team to ensure delivery of experiential and sponsorship marketing projects with high-quality service, so that all client needs are met on time, on scope and on budget.

The Account Executive, Experiential will play a key role in supporting Kia America’s partnerships across the Kia Forum, the NBA, and regional activations—managing day-to-day coordination, vendor relations, and budget tracking—while also providing cross-functional support of other experiential platforms as needed. This role assists senior program managers in ensuring seamless program execution, financial accuracy, and consistent communication across all experiential touchpoints. The AE also contributes to process improvements that strengthen collaboration, operational excellence, and client confidence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Manage day-to-day executional needs across multiple experiential programs, including Kia Forum, NBA, and regional activations
•    Serve as a key point of contact for internal teams, clients, and vendor partners, ensuring clarity and timely communication
•    Develop and maintain project trackers, timelines, budget reconciliations, and reporting documents
•    Support the creation of client presentations, scopes of work, post-event reports, and budget summaries
•    Coordinate with production and creative partners to ensure all deliverables align with brand standards and program objectives
•    Assist in developing and implementing standardized tools, documentation, and processes across programs
•    Coordinate post event activation reviews and vendor audits to identify key learnings and opportunities for optimization
•    Manage pre-event, on-site, and post-event coordination, including staffing, logistics, and recaps
•    Maintain awareness of client goals, brand tone, and competitive landscape to help inform strategic recommendations

QUALIFICATIONS
•    3-4 years of experience in experiential or event marketing, ideally within an agency environment
•    Background in automotive, sports, or entertainment marketing preferred.
•    Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously
•    Proven experience supporting cross-functional teams and vendor partners from planning through on-site execution
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of interfacing directly with clients and partners
•    Comfortable with both creative and operational workflows; able to navigate between account and production functions
•    Passion for live experiences, sponsorships, and cultural storytelling
•    Highly detail-oriented with the ability to adapt quickly under pressure
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
•    Familiarity with budgeting, tracking, and reporting tools

BENEFITS
•    Low-cost health benefits to choose from
•    401k match
•    Wellness reimbursement program
•    Company paid short- and long-term disability, and basic life
•    Generous PTO
•    On-site Barista
•    Beautiful campus across from the Pacific Ocean

Salary range: $70,000 - $90,460.  Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: client, experience, training and/or transferable skills.
