Job description

From gorgeous, wood-beam bed frames to plush, hand-dyed blankets, each of our 142 rooms and suites embraces Vermont’s signature style.

One of the most beloved resorts in New England, The Woodstock Inn & Resort, is seeking an Inn Maintenance worker to join the team!

Job Summary:

Inn Maintenance workers are responsible for supporting and performing maintenance and repair throughout the Inn.

Job Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range: Starting $23.00 per hour
    • The pay scale shown is the range that we reasonably expect to pay. Actual compensation offered may be adjusted based on a candidate’s qualifications and/or experience.
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full time year round
  • 2:00pm-10:00pm Tuesday - Saturday

Job Responsibilities:

  • Preventive maintenance is to be performed regularly to ensure proper function and safety.
  • Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be used at all times.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas and resort public areas.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of department equipment; use equipment only as intended.
  • All necessary safety measures will be used in accordance to OSHA regulations to prevent employees, guests, vendors, all others and property from becoming hurt or damaged.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
  • Select appropriate materials in accordance with task(s) being performed.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Plumbing, carpentry skills and electrical basic knowledge is a must.
  • Knowledge of correct maintenance and use of department equipment; use equipment only as intended.
  • All necessary safety measures will be used in accordance with OSHA regulations to prevent employees, guests, vendors, all others and property from becoming hurt or damaged.
  • Must possess a valid drivers’ license & clean driving record.
  • Must be able to lift & move 75 pounds.
  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
