Assembler – 1st Shift

Location: Sedalia, MO (Gardner Denver – 305 North State Fair Blvd., Sedalia, MO 65301)

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Position Summary

Gardner Denver is seeking an Assembler to join our team in Sedalia, MO. In this role, you will work from procedures, visual work instructions, bills of materials, and blueprints to set up and assemble rotary screw or reciprocating compressors, straight lobe blowers, and re-manufacture returned units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble compressors, blowers, and related equipment according to specifications and work instructions
  • Perform inspection of parts and completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
  • Support basic unit build processes following established procedures
  • Utilize mechanical aptitude to complete assembly tasks accurately
  • Work collaboratively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
  • Follow quality and safety standards to ensure proper assembly and performance
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude required
  • Experience with shop math, metrics, and conversions preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
