Job description

Recruiter

Los Angeles, CA (In-Office, 5 Days a Week)

Who We Are

At Lab37, we build the technology, systems, and physical infrastructure that power the future of food operations. Our products help restaurant partners run smarter, faster, and more profitably by optimizing kitchens, equipment, labor, inventory, and on-premise workflows through intelligent automation.

We're solving real operational challenges with engineering, hardware, software, and services that scale globally.

Our mission: Build the infrastructure that helps operators thrive.

 What You'll Do

As a Recruiter, you'll play a key role in scaling the technical and operational teams that sit at the heart of Lab37's mission. You'll recruit across Mechanical Engineering, Operations, and GTM roles-bringing in the builders, operators, and problem-solvers who will shape Lab37's next phase of growth.

You will:
  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle for Mechanical Engineering, Operations, and GTM roles across multiple geographies.
  • Partner directly with Engineering, Operations, and Commercial leadership to define role requirements, calibrate on talent, and align hiring strategies with business needs.
  • Drive strategic recruiting initiatives that strengthen team capability, accelerate hiring velocity, and ensure we consistently raise the bar on talent.
  • Build strong pipelines through creative sourcing, industry mapping, and proactive engagement of high-caliber engineering, operations, and GTM talent.
  • Leverage funnel data and insights to identify bottlenecks, improve process efficiency, and support predictable hiring outcomes.
What We're Looking For
  • 4-6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience across technical, engineering, operations, or GTM roles.
  • Proven success running complex, specialized searches-especially in Mechanical Engineering, Field Operations, or Commercial roles.
  • A true partner to hiring managers-comfortable advising on market dynamics, leveling, calibration, and hiring strategy.
  • Exceptional communicator who can pitch, persuade, and build trust with both candidates and senior leaders.
  • Highly organized, data-driven, and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Mission-first mindset-you thrive in environments where urgency, ownership, and problem-solving drive results.
Why Join Us
  • High-Impact Recruiting: Hire the builders and operators who will define Lab37's physical and technological systems.
  • Cross-Functional Exposure: Work closely with Engineering, Hardware, Ops, and GTM leadership.
  • Builder Culture: We move fast, operate with extreme ownership, and solve meaningful real-world problems.
What Else You Need to Know

This role is onsite in our Los Angeles HQ, 5 days a week. We believe tight collaboration between Engineering, Ops, and GTM teams is essential when building complex systems that blend hardware, software, and services.

Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
Final compensation depends on experience and qualifications.
Eligible for equity and an annual performance-based bonus.
