About Doodle Labs

Doodle Labs builds the connectivity backbone of the autonomous systems revolution - resilient wireless mesh networks that let drones, robots, and unmanned platforms operate reliably in the world's most demanding environments. We sit at the intersection of defense, robotics, and next-generation autonomy, powering the machines that are changing how militaries, first responders, and industries operate in the field. Our core purpose is simple: connect anyone and anything, at any time, in any place.

For over 25 years, our team has been at the forefront of mesh networking, partnering with leading defense programs, robotics manufacturers, and system integrators worldwide. The work here doesn't sit in a slide deck - it ends up in the field, in the hands of people for whom failure isn't an option.

About the Role

The Operations Manager executes cross-functional programs and helps design and implement processes across the company. You'll support the operating team in making Doodle Labs more efficient as it scales, working closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations leadership to help each department accomplish their mission faster.

  • Assist with standardizing software stacks and platforms across teams, including supporting AI-first operations (Claude, internal agents, automation)
  • Help maintain the operating rhythm - including supporting weekly leadership updates - that keeps teams aligned
  • Execute on supply chain optimization projects to help keep mission-critical hardware shipping on schedule
  • Support the design and implementation of new processes in partnership with Engineering and Operations teams
  • Collaborate across departments to execute on assigned cross-functional projects
  • Support quarterly initiative roadmap execution and help deliver programs that improve how Doodle Labs operates

  • Helps teams adopt new processes and tools effectively
  • Contributes to on-time delivery of quarterly initiatives
  • Identifies process improvements and brings them to leadership
  • Builds strong working relationships across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations
  • Becomes a trusted resource that teams can rely on to get things done

Who You Are

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in operations, process improvement, project coordination, or similar role
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Comfortable learning from senior leaders and taking on increasingly complex projects
  • Detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to identify and solve problems independently
  • Skilled at communicating clearly across teams and departments
  • Genuine enthusiasm for AI tools and automation as levers for improving operations
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with engineering, sales, and ops teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in defense, hardware, or supply chain-heavy industries
  • Familiarity with Claude, other LLM platforms, or process automation tools
  • Experience with cross-team reporting systems or process design Project management certification or background

Why Join Doodle Labs

  • Grow into an operations leadership role at a fast-scaling autonomous systems company
  • Get hands-on experience with process design, supply chain optimization, and AI adoption across a real business
  • Work directly with leadership and engineering teams on initiatives that drive company growth
