Job description

Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. What does that mean? Well, we pump peanut butter into your jar, and the oil in your car. We glue the soles of your shoes, the glass in your windows and the screen on your phone. We spray the finish on your vehicle, coatings on your pills, the paint on your house and texture on your walls. Graco is part of your daily life.
This role is currently based at our Minneapolis office and will transition to our new headquarters in Dayton, MN, in 2027.
The Principal IT Delivery Manager leads end-to-end delivery of enterprise technology solutions and the infrastructure initiatives that support them. This role drives cross-functional planning, integrated execution, and implementation of strategic roadmap initiatives while building strong partnerships with stakeholders at all levels. The position ensures delivery of high-quality, scalable, and innovative technology solutions that enable Graco's business objectives and support operational excellence.
What You Will Do at Graco:
Solution Delivery Leadership
  • Own end-to-end delivery for IT infrastructure projects, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality while aligning with business priorities and enterprise technology roadmaps.

  • Lead delivery workstreams across infrastructure, platform, security, networking, cloud, data center, and operations teams to achieve coordinated execution and successful project outcomes.

  • Drive the planning and implementation of enterprise infrastructure initiatives - including cloud platforms, network modernization, data center, hosting, security, and infrastructure readiness efforts - ensuring sequencing and dependencies are managed effectively across related business and technology projects.

Cross-functional Work Integration
  • Lead cross-functional planning, sequencing, and integration for IT infrastructure initiatives, ensuring infrastructure workstreams are coordinated with application, platform, security, business, and operations teams.

  • Manage infrastructure resource planning across engineering, operations, cloud, network, security, and endpoint teams, while aligning availability and dependencies with application and business project needs.

  • Drive delivery with infrastructure technology vendors, system integrators, managed service providers, and application teams to support successful implementation of critical enterprise initiatives.

  • Oversee infrastructure environment planning and readiness, ensuring compute, network, cloud, security, endpoint, and shared service environments are available, stable, and aligned to project and application delivery timelines.

Risk and Issue Management
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues that may impact delivery, escalating as necessary to ensure timely resolution while ensuring stakeholders are informed and consulted.

  • Establish and enforce delivery standards, best practices, KPIs and metrics to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes across all projects.

Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Drive culture of accountability with all team members and stakeholders.

  • Drive continuous improvement by leveraging feedback, lessons learned, and industry best practices to enhance delivery processes and team performance.

What You Will Bring to Graco:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent infrastructure delivery experience may be considered.

  • 7+ years of experience in IT project, program, or delivery management, with demonstrated success leading complex infrastructure initiatives in a large-scale enterprise environment.

  • Strong project management skills across scope, schedule, budget, resource planning, dependency management, risk and issue management, change control, communications, status reporting, stakeholder alignment, and executive-level governance.

  • Experience delivering infrastructure projects such as cloud migrations, network modernization, data center, hosting, identity and access management, cybersecurity, endpoint, collaboration, observability, and infrastructure platform upgrades.

  • Ability to lead infrastructure readiness and integration workstreams that support enterprise application, business transformation, facility, merger and acquisition, and operational technology initiatives.

  • Proven track record managing cross-functional infrastructure teams, vendors, managed service providers, system integrators, and business stakeholders to deliver large-scale technology roadmaps.

  • Experience applying waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Scrumban, hybrid, and stage-gate delivery methods based on project complexity, risk, and enterprise governance needs.

  • Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture, cloud platforms, networking, data centers, identity, security, endpoint services, service management, operational readiness, and integration with application delivery teams.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, leadership, stakeholder management, vendor management, negotiation, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple infrastructure priorities, balance competing demands, and drive disciplined execution in a fast-paced, dynamic enterprise environment.

Accelerators:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.

  • Experience in the manufacturing industry or other complex, process-driven environments.

  • PMP, ITIL, CSPO, CSM, and/or related certifications.

  • Cloud or infrastructure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco, or equivalent).

  • Proven success with cloud modernization and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Competencies
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to develop a clear, long-term roadmap aligned with business goals.

  • Leadership & Collaboration: Proven history of managing cross-functional teams and working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
