Summary Objective

The IT Project Manager ensures Stellar Energyโ€™s technology projects are managed and delivered cohesively, securely, and sustainably to support business growth. This role is a peer-to-peer leader driving IT projects to completion.


Essential Functions

  • Lead and manage IT projects from initiation through closeout, including scope definition, planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, RAID logs, action item trackers, status reports, and executive-level project summaries.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project activities across IT, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, HR, EHS, Quality, Operations, vendors, consultants, and managed service providers.
  • Facilitate project discovery sessions to document current-state processes, business requirements, system dependencies, integration needs, risks, constraints, and decision points.
  • Translate business needs into clear project requirements, deliverables, milestones, and implementation plans.
  • Manage IT infrastructure, application, cybersecurity, network, ERP, cloud, endpoint, and manufacturing technology projects as assigned.
  • Support projects involving systems such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Intune, FreshService, JD Edwards, SolidWorks/PDM, UKG, ADP, Fortinet, Meraki, and other enterprise or manufacturing platforms.
  • Track project budgets, vendor estimates, statements of work, procurement needs, licensing requirements, and resource commitments.
  • Coordinate vendor and consultant activities, including SOW review, task assignment, schedule alignment, deliverable tracking, and issue escalation.
  • Prepare and deliver project status updates for IT leadership, steering committees, business stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Identify, document, and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation planning.
  • Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, capture meeting notes, document decisions, assign action items, and follow up on open tasks.
  • Support change management activities, including stakeholder communications, implementation readiness, training coordination, go-live planning, and post-implementation support.
  • Coordinate technical implementation activities with IT operations, infrastructure, security, applications, service desk, vendors, and business process owners.
  • Ensure project deliverables are properly transitioned to operations, including support documentation, ownership assignment, knowledge transfer, training materials, and service desk readiness.
  • Support IT governance processes by helping prioritize project demand, document business value, assess resource impacts, and align initiatives with company objectives.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation in approved systems, repositories, ticketing platforms, or project management tools.
  • Assist with IT asset, configuration, and service management improvements by supporting process design, data cleanup, workflow development, and system adoption.
  • Promote standard project management practices, templates, reporting standards, and continuous improvement across the IT organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of IT delivery, operational readiness, business transformation, and technology modernization initiatives.

Work Location

This position will work out of the Normandy office in Jacksonville, FL. This position is not approved for telecommuting or working remotely

Work Environment
Most work is performed in a remote office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.


Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Travel
Anticipated up to 10% travel for this position between the different Stellar Energy offices.

Required Education and Experience.

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in IT Project Management
  • Proven experience in managing complex integration projects and continuity initiatives
  • Strong understanding of ITIL, PMBOK
  • Demonstrated expertise in project delivery, systems interoperability, and resilience planning
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience in fast-scaling, transformation-driven organizations
  • Certifications in PMP, SAFe, or Scrum
  • Familiarity with hybrid integration platforms (Azure, Boomi, Mulesoft, etc.) and cloud resilience design
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
