POSITION: FULL TIME/DIRECT HIRE

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of data to support business decisions. You will be expected to develop and implement data analytics processes, identify trends and insights, and create visualizations to communicate your findings to stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
  • The primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining reports using the Business Intelligence Platform Reporting.
  • Ensure the accuracy of data in the Business Intelligence database and interface connectivity between databases.
  • Collaborate with Donated Goods Retail management to support revenue growth and profitability.
  • Analyze high-volume data to identify trends related to the overall health of Donated Good Retail Departments and provide comprehensive recommendations.
  • Develop process efficiencies and automation to create standardized, efficient, and repeatable processes.
  • Monitor competitive activity and pricing in the e-commerce marketplace and identify opportunities and threats to the business.
  • Provide guidance and strategy for marketing a wide variety of retail product categories.
  • Support Retail New Product replenishment and sales.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining E-Commerce Listing Platforms and provide E-Commerce support for IT-based systems
  • Participate in the annual sales planning and forecasting process by sharing knowledge of the category, customers, and trends.
  • Maintain complete documentation relating to job responsibilities in accordance with IT policy
  • Offer general support as needed to the IT department.
  • Perform any other special duties and projects assigned.

  • Security: Ensure the security of data and information by implementing and maintaining security protocols, including firewalls, antivirus software, and encryption.
  • Documentation:
    1. Maintain documentation and manuals related to IT systems and processes, including procedures and instructions.
    2. Stay up to date with emerging trends and techniques in data analysis
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, as well as relevant experience in data analysis and IT support.
  • Possess 1-2 years of desktop support experience and a strong understanding of computer hardware and software.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, and R, are also necessary
  • Experience in network management and help desk support.
  • Solid knowledge of IT systems and applications.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration.
