Job description

Information Systems Security Manager
The Opportunity:
Design, implement, and manage policies and procedures to ensure database and software security. Apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members.
You Have:
  • 6+ years of experience as an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) or Information System Security Officer (ISSO)
  • Knowledge of NIST Risk Management Framework, including NIST Special Publications 800 series
  • Knowledge of security configuration and hardening, including for cloud infrastructure
  • Ability to timely shepherd project teams through the NIST or RMF process
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience as an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) or Security Control Assessor (SCA)
  • Knowledge of automation, cloud security, and vulnerability scanning
  • Ability to solve complex security challenges
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Master's degree in IT or Cybersecurity
  • Security+, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
