Job Description
The Assistant Manager of IT Business & Clinical Systems is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the IT Applications team. This will include project management, technology decisions, personnel issues, and others as needed. This position assists with the management and coordination of the implementation, design, and maintenance of clinical and business information systems used to improve operations. The position coordinates projects within Information Technology to ensure the effective integration of all hospital business and clinical systems. The Manager is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The ideal candidate will have experience supervising complex projects in a healthcare environment. The Assistant Manager leads and supervises the application support team. This position requires knowledge and skills such as data abstraction, application analysis and design, software implementation and support, and strong presentation skills are required.
