Overview

The AI Business Enabler helps AIT teams understand, adopt, and apply AI and GenAI tools to solve real logistics and operational challenges. This role focuses on identifying business problems, shaping AI-enabled solutions, and supporting teams as they integrate AI into daily workflows. The AI Business Enabler is not a technical model-builder; instead, this role bridges logistics expertise with strong GenAI tool fluency (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to drive efficiency, improve decision-making, and accelerate AIT's AI maturity.

Responsibilities
  • Business Problem Identification & AI Opportunity Discovery Partner with operations, sales, customer solutions, and corporate teams to identify where AI and GenAI can improve efficiency, accuracy, or customer experience. Conduct workflow reviews and map pain points to AI-enabled solutions. Translate logistics and business needs into clear requirements for the AI & Data Science team.
  • GenAI Tool Enablement & Solution Support Serve as an internal expert on GenAI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.). Create prompts, templates, and use-case playbooks tailored to logistics workflows. Support the Senior Manager and technical teams by validating business requirements and ensuring solutions align with operational realities.
  • AI Adoption, Training & Change Management Develop training materials, demos, and best-practice guides for non-technical users. Lead workshops, office hours, and onboarding sessions to build AI confidence across the organization. Gather user feedback and partner with technical teams to refine solutions.
  • Data & Readiness Support Work with data and MLOps teams to ensure business context is incorporated into AI solutions. Support data quality reviews and readiness assessments from a business-user perspective.
  • Research, Innovation & Industry Awareness Stay current on AI and GenAI trends relevant to logistics, supply chain, and customer experience. Recommend new tools, capabilities, or approaches that can accelerate AIT's AI roadmap.

  • The wage range for this position is $120,470.00-$180,710.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience
Qualifications

Education Bachelor's Degree Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Analytics, or related field (required) Master's Degree Any field demonstrating strong analytical and critical-thinking skills (preferred) Experience 5+ years Experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, business analysis, or process improvement (required) 2+ years Hands-on experience using GenAI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to solve business problems (required) 1+ years Experience working with Python, SQL, or a similar programming or scripting language to support data analysis, workflow automation, reporting, prototyping, or technical collaboration. (required) 1+ years Experience working with cloud-based data, analytics, or AI platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms preferred. (preferred) 3+ years Experience working cross-functionally with business and technical teams (preferred) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Logistics & Business Acumen: Strong understanding of freight forwarding, supply chain operations, or logistics workflows. GenAI Fluency: Skilled at using GenAI tools to automate tasks, analyze information, and create business-ready outputs. Business Analysis: Ability to translate operational needs into AI-enabled solutions. Communication: Strong storytelling and facilitation skills; able to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences. Change Management: Experience supporting technology adoption and user enablement. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with operations, sales, IT, data science, and leadership teams Technical Acumen: Experience developing with a programming language, environment management, and lifecycle deployments Licenses and Certifications AI literacy or GenAI tool certifications (preferred)  Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt - (preferred)  Supply chain or logistics certifications (e.g., CSCMP, APICS) (preferred)
