Job description

Join Vanguard as the Total Rewards Global Process Owner and play a pivotal role in shaping the technology and processes that support our global compensation, benefits, and rewards programs. This highly visible position offers the opportunity to partner across HR, Total Rewards, and Technology teams to drive strategic process improvements, optimize employee experiences, and lead the implementation of innovative solutions within Workday, ServiceNow, and other critical platforms.
As a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you'll translate complex business needs into scalable technology solutions, influence key stakeholders, and help deliver a world-class Total Rewards experience for Vanguard crew worldwide. If you're passionate about HR technology, process excellence, and creating meaningful impact at scale, this is an exciting opportunity to lead transformation and drive lasting business value.
Responsibilities:
  • Proactively analyzes business and user needs and identifies, evaluates, and develops complex information systems to meet business requirements. Provides insight on the business implications of technology systems.
  • Provides senior level consulting services to internal business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve their business results. Formulates and defines the systems scope and objectives, based on user needs and industry requirements.
  • Utilizes deep understanding of business needs to direct process improvement projects for internal business groups, aiming to improve key business results. Leads the design and testing of new or enhanced applications that align to the overall business technology strategy.
  • Leads the implementation of business systems and software. Analyzes, defines, and documents existing systems logic challenges, and makes revisions to address business issues.
  • Monitors user experiences and feedback on the use of business applications, and makes enhancements to system productivity, as needed. Leads the collection, documentation, and maintenance of functional requirements and modeling.
  • Guides and advises less experienced crew.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Five years' related work experience. Three years' experience in business technology preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
  • Experience supporting HR or Total Rewards systems and processes; Workday and ServiceNow experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong background in business analysis, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and functional documentation.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and drive implementation in partnership with IT.
  • Experience with system testing and implementations, including test case creation and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with experience in HR metrics, reporting, and identifying trends and risks.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, influence stakeholders, and serve as a strategic partner, with compensation/benefits knowledge and relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM, project management) preferred.
