Senior Solutions Architect Details

Essential Job Duties:

  • Responsible for designing end-to-end technical solutions across applications, infrastructure and integrations
  • Developing architectural diagrams, technical specifications and implementation roadmaps implementation
  • Provide architectural guidance to infrastructure teams
  • Lead design reviews and recommend improvements to existing systems
  • Establish best practices for software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and system performance
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability planning
  • Present architecture recommendations and technical strategies to leadership and clients
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies
  • Responsible for design, build, deployment, and maintenance around virtualization technologies and storage platforms
  • Responsible for design, build, deployment, and maintenance of Citrix technologies
  • Ensure system uptime and availability, overall performance, resources, and security of all systems to meet need of end users
  • Analyzing system logs, identifying potential issues with systems, and proactively presenting possible solutions
  • Install and upgrade components and software, provide routine automation and offer improvement options for consideration
  • Applying system updates, patches, and configuration changes routinely in a proactive manner
  • Answering technical queries and assisting end users upon issue escalation
  • Documenting the configuration of underlying infrastructure, processes, and procedures
  • Troubleshooting any reported problems and implementing improvements to eliminate future issues
  • May be on-call.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • College graduate - BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field required.
  • 8+ years in software development, systems architecture or engineering
  • Experience with medium to large network system project planning
  • Proven experience designing enterprise-scale systems and distributed architectures
  • Extensive experience working with Virtualization technologies and storage
  • Expertise with designing, managing and deploying Citrix technologies, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Provisioning Services, Citrix Workspace and Citrix Netscaler/ADC
  • Experience working with databases and data architecture
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and AWS
  • Strong knowledge of API’s, microservices and system integration
  • Extensive experience with personal computers, software, and networks.
  • Experience with network infrastructures and network security.
  • Strong knowledge of Powershell scripting.
  • Must meet and deal successfully with a wide variety of people.
  • Must be accomplished in written and verbal business communication.
  • Must have strong analytic skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
