MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Architect II to join our team in Crane, Indiana. This is an onsite position.
As a core member, you will assist in the research & design, engineering, integration, testing, training, logistics, laboratory research, field engineering, and acquisition and operations analysis in support of a variety of Navy and Marine Corps programs and projects with a focus on defensive cyber technologies, mission assurance, and resilience capabilities for the tactical network environment. Your effort will go towards dramatically increasing the warfighter's effectiveness. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure software application architectures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Conduct architectural reviews and provide guidance on best practices and coding standards
  • Ensure software solutions are aligned with business and technical requirements
  • Provide technical expertise and direction for project
  • Develop architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines
  • Develops strategy of system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy
  • Serve in a variety of technical roles throughout the development lifecycle or operational support with specialty in the area of developing and maintaining enterprise architecture

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree or High School Diploma and 6 years of additional relevant experience or Associate's Degree and 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of Project Management
  • Experience with Agile processes, iterative design, and continuous improvement
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters Degree
  • Demonstrated experience in architecting large scale distributed platform
  • Familiarity with Big Data Platforms (BDPs)
  • Experience working with government programs

Clearance Requirements:
  • Must have a current and active Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
