Local Team Collaboration:

  • Join our close-knit team of 14 hospitalists at Providence St. Mary Medical Center.
  • We are increasing our model with 2 Nurse Practitioners.
  • Within the hospital, we work closely with our colleagues in other departments to ensure a smooth transition of care.
  • Sound Physicians Intensivists provide support to the hospitalist team.

Qualifications:

  • Acute Care trained nurse practitioners are accepted. Family trained is accepted with hospitalist experience. Candidates must be board-certified or eligible with the expectation of obtaining certification.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply. Completion of training, board certification, and unrestricted APRN license to be granted before the start of employment.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

  • Monday-Friday day schedule is 7a-3p.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will work in an open ICU environment, though no procedures are required.
  • This is an admission and cross-coverage position
  • The role utilizes Epic EMR, with access to Sound Physicians’ internal informatics platform for seamless patient management.
