We're partnering with a growing organization seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead tax strategy, compliance, and planning efforts. This is more than a traditional tax role—you'll serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, helping shape key business decisions while identifying opportunities to reduce risk, improve processes, and optimize the company's tax position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all federal, state, and local tax compliance activities, ensuring accurate and timely filings.
  • Develop and execute proactive tax planning strategies that support business growth and maximize tax efficiencies.
  • Research and interpret changes in tax legislation while advising leadership on potential business impacts.
  • Partner with Accounting, Finance, and Operations to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance across the organization.
  • Manage tax provisions, reconciliations, audits, and relationships with external tax advisors and regulatory agencies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, strengthen internal controls, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Support acquisitions, capital projects, and other strategic business initiatives by providing tax guidance and analysis.
  • Mentor and develop accounting team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
Qualifications
  • CPA designation required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive tax experience, preferably with a combination of public accounting and private industry.
