Influencer & PR Manager

Full Time | Remote

Help make POLYWOOD the most talked-about seat outside.

About POLYWOOD

POLYWOOD is changing what it means to own outdoor furniture. For 35 years, we've built iconic outdoor furniture from recycled HDPE lumber - designed to outlast weather, kids, and trends. We're a vertically integrated American manufacturer with a brand that's growing into something bigger: the outdoor home. As we scale into the next era of brand-led growth, we're building a marketing team that brings that story to life, with cultural relevance, creator partnerships, and earned media that earns its place.

----------------------------------------------------

About the Role

POLYWOOD is looking for an Influencer & PR Manager to bring us into the conversations that matter, through creators, media, and partnerships that shape how people think about their outdoor spaces. This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes influencer marketing and PR, knows how to build strong, collaborative relationships with agency partners, media, and influencers of all sizes. You think beyond transactional product placement to the bigger brand story we're building.

You'll be the internal day-to-day lead for POLYWOOD's influencer and PR programs, partnering closely with our agency to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns that build awareness, engagement, and advocacy. Because influencer and affiliate strategies work hand-in-hand, you'll also collaborate closely with our affiliate agency to ensure creator partnerships, content, and campaigns are aligned across channels. You'll keep the work moving, the standards high, and the brand consistent, bringing POLYWOOD's brand strategy to life through the creators we partner with, the stories we tell, and the moments we activate.

----------------------------------------------------

What you'll do

  • Run the day-to-day of POLYWOOD's influencer and PR programs in close partnership with our agency of record
  • Bring brand strategy to life through creators and culture — translate the long-term brand vision into the influencer and PR work that shows up in the world, advocating for partnerships and content that build the brand story, not just product visibility
  • Brief, review, and approve creator content to ensure it reflects POLYWOOD's brand, voice, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with our affiliate agency to ensure creator partnerships, content, campaigns, and reporting are aligned across brand and performance objectives.
  • Maintain the campaign calendar across influencer activations, seasonal moments, product launches, PR initiatives, and key affiliate-supported campaigns.
  • Coordinate gifting, send-outs, and creator logistics — partnering with the warehouse, fulfillment, and creative teams to keep programs running smoothly
  • Track and report on campaign performance, including reach, engagement, earned media value, traffic, and conversions, and share actionable insights with internal partners and agency.
  • Understand culture—bring emerging creators, platform shifts, and cultural moments to the team before the agency does
  • Serve as the connective tissue between agency partners, creative, paid media, ecommerce, and brand teams to ensure integrated execution.
  • Support PR initiatives by coordinating with our PR agency on media outreach, press opportunities, product placements, and earned coverage tied to brand and product news.

----------------------------------------------------

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, or PR, ideally at a consumer brand or in an agency working on consumer brand accounts
  • Deep familiarity with the creator landscape—Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest—and a real point of view on what makes a partnership work
  • Familiarity with affiliate marketing and creator commerce models, with the ability to partner effectively with our affiliate agency and understand performance metrics.
  • A brand-builder mindset—you understand the difference between a placement that moves units and a partnership that builds a brand
  • Strong agency management skills: comfortable briefing, providing feedback, maintaining standards, and driving accountability, without micromanaging
  • Sharp written and verbal communication—you can write a brief, write a recap, and write a Slack message to the CEO with the same clarity
  • Comfort with the tactical: spreadsheets, trackers, contracts, send-out logistics, performance dashboards
  • Experience with influencer and UGC management platforms
  • An aesthetic eye and cultural fluency—you understand visual storytelling, you know what stops the scroll for both a new-to-brand and existing audience, and you have a real point of view on where lifestyle culture is heading
  • Bonus: experience in home, lifestyle, or design-adjacent categories

----------------------------------------------------

Why This Role Matters

Brand Communications is one of four functions inside POLYWOOD's Brand Marketing organization the team that brings our brand into culture and into customers' lives. Influencer and PR are how we show up in the conversations that shape how people think about their outdoor spaces. This role is where the brand strategy meets the real world, where the vision becomes content, creators, and coverage that build POLYWOOD into a brand people talk about, not just a brand they buy from.

If this sounds like the kind of impact you want to make, we invite you to apply.
