The Inflight Learning Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the training and qualification process for Flight Attendants. This position manages administrative and scheduling functions to ensure compliance with Company and FAA requirements. Key responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating training events such as Initial Qualification (IQ), Continuing Qualification (CQ), and Operations Experience (OE); preparing classroom materials and documentation; managing critical records through scanning, copying, and filing; coordinating catering needs; compiling data and generating reports; and communicating time-sensitive updates to crew members. This role also serves as a point of contact for training-related inquiries, ensuring a seamless and supportive learning experience.


  • Schedule and coordinate all Inflight Learning events, including Initial Qualification (IQ), Continuing Qualification (CQ), and Operating Experience (OE) for all Flight Attendants.
  • Manage eLearning progress, recency, and qualification tracking to ensure training compliance for all Flight Attendants.
  • Arrange travel logistics including booking flights, hotels, and coordinating trainings schedules in alignment with the training footprint for each crew member and aircraft type.
  • Monitor and proactively adjust training schedules due to operational disruptions, delays, or changes in availability, communicating updates promptly to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Inflight Services, Talent Acquisition, Flight Operations, Crew Planning, Staffing, Crew Pay, and Line Check Evaluators to support seamless training execution.
  • Interpret and apply FAA regulations, company policies, and collective bargaining agreements to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records in coordination with Crew Records, including sensitive documents such as qualification paperwork, passport, and government IDs.
  • Process training bids and award schedules based on seniority, demand, and training needs.
  • Set up and tear down classrooms, support graduation events, and coordinate necessary provisions such as catering and supplies.
  • Track productivity metrics and monitor training schedules to support ongoing qualification and requalification efforts.
  • Perform duties primarily in an office setting with frequent computer use and occasional walking between training rooms.
  • Some local driving may be required for pickup or delivery of supplies or materials.

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in data entry or administrative support role.
  • 1 year of flight attendant or airline operation experience preferred.
  • 1 year of Crew Services/Scheduling experience preferred.
  • Reliable and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • PC proficient in Microsoft Office products and general internet applications.
  • Experience with CrewTrac (preferred).

  • Repetitive motion such as typing and phone work.
  • Minimal physical exertion such as: pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting of boxes, bags, files, and electronic equipment not in excess of 30 lbs.
  • Travel up to 5%.
  • Ability to work extra and on-call hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime.
