What You Will Be Doing:
As the Industrial Electrician Helper for Yancey Engineered Solutions, you will assist with electrical installs for industrial packaging on a daily basis. You will also perform all duties related to industrial packaging for backup power.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist with basic electrical tasks: bend conduit, run wire, wire breaker panels, etc.
  • Must keep all materials, tools, and equipment in an orderly fashion, maintain a clean work area at all times, demonstrate safe work habits and exhibit proper care of all tools and equipment.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager.
Who We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this position you should have proven experience as an electrician and hold a valid state electrician's license. You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to take direction and work in a team environment is essential to this position as well.
Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant certifications from a technical college preferred.
  • Must have 3-years minimum experience as a commercial industrial or residential electrical apprentice / journeyman.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical installation.
  • Willingness to learn basic electrical tasks.
