Automation Controls Engineer

My client a top Consulting Engineering firm in Illinois is seeking Electrical Controls Engineers with the following experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline
  • Industrial automation & controls engineering experience
  • PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD programming
  • Design new control systems
  • Optimize existing control systems
  • Electrical schematics
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working for a Systems Integrator
  • Knowledge of Water/Wastewater Systems is a plus
  • Rockwell/Allen Bradley, Control Logix, RSLogix, Compact Logix, FactoryTalk Batch, Siemens PLC's, RSView, FactoryTalk View, PlantPAx, Siemens TIA Portal, PanelView, GE PLC, Ignition HMI/SCADA, Schneider Electric Unity Pro, Citect, or similar
  • Experience in Process controls industries is a plus
  • Radio / Cellular Telemetry is a major plus
