Job Summary:
  • Seeking a Business Development Representative to become the face of our consulting firm.
  • Join a supportive and collaborative team environment (including a sales support team) with excellent growth opportunities, generous benefits, competitive pay, and commission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities in target industries
  • Leverage existing relationships with business owners and C-level executives in the greater Houston area.
  • Articulate Indigo Beam's service offerings, qualify opportunities, and conduct professional sales presentations.
  • Attend networking events, build brand recognition, and contribute to building the sales pipeline.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and develop/write detailed proposals for potential clients in collaboration with our sales support team.
  • Support senior sales leaders with pipeline management and account planning
  • Stay updated with industry trends, collaborate with internal teams, and negotiate contracts to meet or exceed sales targets.

Requirements
  • IT consulting or technology services experience
  • Proven experience engaging business owners and key decision makers.
  • Strong sales acumen, formal sales training, and a track record of achieving sales goals
  • At least 6 years of previous experience in sales, account management, or business development (IT Consulting or Technology Services preferred)
  • Working knowledge of software services and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, collaboration, and self-motivation.
  • Fearless attitude with a mission-driven personality.
