Job description

Assignment Length: Ongoing coverage need

Start Date: As soon as credentialed

Openings: 1

Reason for Coverage: Long-term permanent search

Practice Setting:

  • Level III NICU
  • Procedures required including delivery room attendance, neonatal resuscitation, PICC line placement, umbilical line placement, needle aspiration and chest tube placement
  • Supervising physician present during assignment

Schedule:

  • Day and night coverage needed, 7:00-7:30
  • Average 10-12 PPD

Patient Population: Neonates

EMR: EPIC

Credentialing: 30-60 days

Requirements:

  • Active Michigan licensure
  • Board certification
  • AHA BLS and NRP certifications
  • Minimum 1-year Neonatal experience or equivalent


Job Responsibilities (Generalized):
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions
  • Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and APP specialty
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly

Requirements

Education:
