Medical Office Front Desk Receptionist

The Retina Group of Florida is a multi-office ophthalmology practice specializing in diseases of the retina. Currently seeking full-time ophthalmic photographers, technicians, and receptionists to join our team at our locations in Palm Beach or Broward counties. Position is full-time with excellent benefits.

Multi-office Ophthalmology practice specializing in diseases of the retina is seeking an individual that has experience with medical office insurance verifications, referrals and authorizations. This position has potential for travel to our local satellite offices and requires individuals to have reliable transportation on a daily basis. Candidates should exhibit professionalism and work well in a team environment. This position requires an individual who is organized, prompt, reliable and has the ability to learn new tasks quickly and efficiently in a fast paced environment.

  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Filing, faxing and other miscellaneous front desk tasks
  • Knowledge of multiple insurances, referral and authorization process
  • Troubleshoot insurance claims issues
  • EMR experience a plus
  • Spanish speaking a plus
