Mastery of tools like Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom, or Blender, and familiarity with project management platforms is typical. Excellent communication, time management, and self-motivation are crucial soft skills for managing client expectations and meeting deadlines independently. Building strong relationships and setting expectations upfront can help avoid misunderstandings and ensure a smooth workflow.

What are Independent Contractor Animators?

Independent Contractor Animators are professionals who create animations for clients on a contract or freelance basis, rather than as full-time employees. They may work on projects such as movies, video games, advertisements, or web content. They often work remotely and collaborate with clients or creative teams to bring visual concepts to life through animation.
