Professionals at independent agencies often manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, which requires strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities. Familiarity with client management software, quoting systems, and insurance carrier portals is essential. Strong networking, negotiation, and entrepreneurial skills help you build client relationships and grow your business. These abilities are crucial for providing tailored coverage solutions, managing agency operations, and maintaining a competitive edge in the insurance market.

What is an independent agency?
