Head of Independent Agency Salesย 

Are you a strategic sales leader with a hunter mentality and deep expertise in selling to independent advertising agencies? Do you thrive on building impactful partnerships and driving growth? PubMatic is seeking a dynamic Vice President, Advertiser Solutions - Independent Agencies to join our expanding sales organization!ย 

About the Role:ย 
As a key member of our US sales leadership team, you will report to the SVP of Advertiser Solutions and play a pivotal role in accelerating our growth. You'll leverage your industry knowledge and strategic vision to engage with brand and agency leadership, challenging their assumptions and offering innovative programmatic solutions.ย  You will engage senior agency executives, challenge industry norms, and develop strategic partnerships.ย  This team focuses on driving sales while collaborating with our specialist sales team. If you're passionate about the future of digital advertising and have a proven track record across verticals, this role is for you!ย 

Responsibilities:

What you'll do:ย ย 

  • Develop and execute PubMatic's independent agency sales strategy across new and existing business.ย 
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering collaboration and accountability.ย 
  • Expand platform spend, exceed growth targets, and continuously prospect new opportunities.ย 
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships within the company.ย 
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and effectively communicate PubMatic's value proposition.ย 
Requirements:

Who you are:ย ย 

  • Twelve plus years' of experience in Sales or Business Development within the AdTech industry.ย 
  • Five plus years 'of team management experience.ย 
  • Deep relationships with senior level leadership at independent agencies.ย 
  • Expertise in PMP deals, buy-side platforms, and ad-serving technologies.ย 
  • Proven track record in leading complex, multi-stakeholder deals.ย 
  • Ability to confidently present to C-level executives and drive strategic discussions.ย

Compensation and Benefits:ย 

Base and Bonus Salary Range: $375,000 to $425,000ย 

In accordance with applicable law, the above salary range provided is PubMatic's reasonable estimate of the base salary for this role. The actual amount may vary, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition to salary PubMatic also offers a bonus and a competitive benefits package.ย
