Job Description

We evaluate the candidates from the perspective of their experience with computer hardware and software. They must be very familiar with working with large software vendors and varied type of licensing arrangements. Need to be able to name the suppliers and give concrete examples of the contracts and quotes negotiated and licenses they bought and tell us about how they negotiate them and provide in-depth / specific aspects of challenges that could tell us they were indeed seasoned in the field. An ideal candidate would be someone who have worked in similar environment who purchased large volume of computer hardware and software products not only for internal use, but also for resale to customers and for using the products in a hosted environment..

Qualifications
  • A Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education (Associates Degree) and experience is desired for this position.
  • Recent experience with Oracle 11i Purchasing Module or similar ERP system is required.ย 
  • 5+ years in order placement, requests for proposals or quotes and contract review and negotiation.
  • Strong experience in handling purchases for computer hardware and software
  • Strong interpersonal skills and verbal and written communications.
  • Proficient in MS Office software.ย 
  • Bilingual (English and French) languages skill is a plus
