Position: Programme Manager - Baseball
Job Location: 3625 Cumberland Boulevard SE, Atlanta, GA 30339
Duties: Lead a team that delivers faultless services to our customers; identifying areas to improve day to day operations and efficiencies. Provide leadership and development to the team of Operations Managers, Leads and Coordinators on the ground, ensuring training is effective, and their needs are met. Understanding, involvement and contribution towards budgeting and reviewing fiscal year finance sheets. Understand our customer strategies and, with a comprehensive knowledge of our core technology, offer solutions to further add value to their sports alongside the Commercial Director. Ensure technologies provided within the region are continually improving by working with the UK based Tech team. Set staffing levels according to budget and support Operations Managers in logistics and scheduling. Strategic oversight with a focus on planning for 12+ months ahead to include initial scheduling and resourcing decision making and communication together with the US Tracking Operations Team. Identifying what is required across the whole department in order to match the Director of Operations strategic/growth directives and executing on what is required. Keeping the long-term vision in mind when iteratively updating/refreshing and building out processes that pinpoint and improve department procedures. E.g. Black Box Reviews. Identifying ways to increase profit by challenging existing models and reducing costs over the long-term contracts in an effort to ensure the department is working at full financial efficiency, whilst maintaining a holistic approach to department growth and functionality. Leading the weekly Ops stand Up alongside Operations Director and Sport Operational Managers. Leading by example, embodying the Hawk-Eye values and ensuring they remain central to decision making.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Sports Technology, Business, Engineering or a related field plus 4 years of experience in Sports Technology or related experience.
Skills required: Must have experience with: optical player tracking software and theory; video review software and theory; Windows server hardware build, troubleshooting and hardware components and their applications; end-to-end process mapping and workflow design; project management, including planning for a range of system installations and calibrations within a set time scale, budget and staffing allowance; validation of system installations with camera hardware and fiber optic; communicating with clients to provide regular, accurate and transparent updates, ensuring that projects are on track for completion in a satisfactory manner; managing resources, including goal setting, career planning and effective scheduling for projects. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills
The base pay range for this position is $109,907 to 127,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for a bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid medical leave after three months of employment, a 401k plan with matching company contributions, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance program, eighty hours of paid sick leave time annually, and up to twelve weeks paid parental leave after six months of employment.
