Job description


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain litigation and transactional calendars and schedules for assigned attorneys with strong attention to detail.
  • Assist attorneys with reviewing and routing incoming mail, email management and document and office organization, and maintaining organized legal files
  • Prepare, edit, proofread, and format legal documents, emails, presentations, legal memoranda, and legal reports
  • Organize legal records and documents accordingly and keep track of legal document version control by maintaining, filing and organizing documents and records on the Integrity legal's contract lifecycle management (CLM) tool
  • Support legal department reporting, data collection, and compiling data for legal department metrics and presentations to leadership
  • Keep track of legal deadlines on assigned attorney's calendars
  • Support assigned attorneys and legal department as needed with internal and external client and vendor interactions, including administrative support, scheduling support, meeting and travel support
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support evolving requirements of the legal department.
  • Additional administrative duties as assigned, including ordering meals, making document copies, making reservations and travel arrangements etc.

Primary Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Highly organized, self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication along with ability to handle and prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks.
  • Ability to act with thoughtfulness, discretion and tact and maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal matters
  • Ability to pivot quickly to respond with flexibility to changing priorities and work demands.
  • Ability to quickly learn and integrate new technical skills and knowledge, including legal department systems and tools such as CLM platforms, e-billing systems, legal hold tools, and document management systems to properly manage recordkeeping, documentation, and deadline tracking
  • Proactive attitude with desire and ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimal direction; takes strong initiative on their own
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy are critical
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (particularly Outlook and Word), and familiarity with or willingness to learn legal-specific software such as contract management, e-discovery, and legal research platforms
  • Ability to perform with professionalism and responsiveness at a high level in a fast-paced and changing legal department.
  • Flexibility and willingness to assist legal department in its activities and mission as needs arise.

Additional:

  • Strong interest in further developing career at Integrity, including career development within legal administration, and potentially obtaining a paralegal's certification.
