Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Construction Tech

Our client is a fast-growing, multi-national SaaS company headquartered in Dallas, Texas, with a global team of over 200 employees. Our client builds cutting-edge platforms that transform risk management, insurance compliance, and operational workflows across the construction and real estate industries. Our client is a leading disruptor in the insurance industry, providing software technology solutions that are creating a transformational evolution in risk management.

Our client is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join the team and be the "tip of the spear" in generating qualified pipeline by identifying and engaging General Contractors (GCs).


The Role

As an SDR, you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, responsible for generating qualified pipeline (SQLs) by identifying and engaging General Contractors (GCs) and sparking interest in a smarter way to manage construction risk. This role is critical in building top-of-funnel demand and setting up high-quality meetings with construction executives (CFOs, COOs, Risk/Contract Managers) for the Account Executives.

This is a high-energy, high-volume outreach role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is resilient in the face of rejection.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect into target GCs via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and industry events
  • Identify key decision-makers (CFOs, Risk Managers, Project Executives)
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads using defined criteria (BANT)
  • Schedule meetings and demos for Account Executives
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking in CRM tools
  • Conduct market research on target accounts and segments
  • Collaborate with AEs and marketing to refine messaging and approach


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: 0-4 years of B2B SaaS or related sales experience (SDR, BDR, Inside Sales)
  • Hunter Mentality: High-energy, high-volume outreach with resilience to handle rejection
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication – ability to command attention in the first 30 seconds
  • Coachable: Eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Industry Knowledge: Exposure to construction, real estate, or risk management (Contech, Insurtech, or Fintech) is strongly preferred
  • Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Irving, TX (Dallas area)
