HR Business Partner - Plant
Job Summary: The HRBP - Plant provides daily operational support to site employees, leadership, and HR management. Responsibilities encompass data collection and maintenance, communication distribution, payroll oversight, hourly recruitment, on-site training, and policy and benefits administration.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist HR leadership with employee communications, HR program implementation, policy rollouts, and compliance tracking initiatives.
  • Manage daily employee inquiries and prepare official correspondence related to compensation, benefits, policies, and employment matters.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, status changes, and terminations.
  • Support the implementation and consistent enforcement of HR policies, procedures, and company guidelines.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities for hourly positions, including interviewing, candidate screening, and collaboration with hiring managers to identify required skills and qualifications.
  • Conduct and coordinate pre-employment processes, including background checks, drug screenings, and employment eligibility verifications.
  • Facilitate comprehensive new hire orientations to ensure a smooth and effective onboarding experience.
  • Partner with Payroll, Benefits, and department leadership to manage leave of absence and return-to-work processes while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives, while assisting in the planning and execution of employee engagement, wellness, recognition, and company events.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of HRIS data, personnel files, and sensitive employee information at all times.

Qualifications:
  • HR diploma or certification required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR administration or human resources support functions.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on payroll support experience.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment standards, human rights regulations, and workplace health and safety laws.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, preferably Workday, along with strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
