Administrative Support IV

The City of Alexandria is located in northern Virginia and is bordered by the District of Columbia (Potomac River), Arlington and Fairfax counties. With a population of approximately 150,000 and a land area of 15.75 square miles, Alexandria is the seventh largest city in the Commonwealth of Virginia. An Overview

The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the Division of Aging and Adult Services. Duties include answering the division's main phone line, providing information and referral and transferring calls to appropriate staff; Assist Companion and Guardianship Program supervisors; processes paperwork for Personal Care Screenings; maintains calendar for Division Director; manages the Senior Taxi Yellow Card Program; oversees the use of city vehicles; performs other administrative tasks as needed including copying and faxing and support during various meetings.
