The DSP is responsible for maintaining an environment that implements quality health and safety management standards to protect the health, safety and welfare of individuals receiving services. In this position, you will have direct care responsibilities along with additional duties that assist the company with daily operations. You will provide quality services to our individuals. Only serious applicants need to apply.  
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assists with Activities of Daily Living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, etc.
Provides care to individuals as defined in their ISP (Individual Service Plan).
Interact with individuals in a professional manner adhering to all human rights guidelines.
Follow Home and Community Based Service guidelines.
Administration of medication
Monitor special medical conditions, i.e. seizures, diabetes, special diets, physical disabilities and dual diagnosis
Completes all required individuals related clinical documentation including progress notes, incident reports, and data tracking
Follows all Health, Safety, and Emergency guidelines.
Performs household maintenance to maintain a safe and positive environment, includes cleaning.
Lifting a minimum of 25 pounds.
Assist with transferring and personal care of individuals.
Intervenes and responds to a crisis and follows the policies and procedures
Follow program-specific guidelines for individual’s oversight and supervision.
Performs work and other duties as directed by immediate supervisor.
