The Human Resources Specialist provides comprehensive support across key HR functions, including employee training, onboarding, and document management. This role plans and facilitates training sessions, develops and maintains pre-boarding materials, and ensures accurate recordkeeping and reporting. Additionally, the specialist assists with investigations, processes documents in compliance with company policies, and maintains electronic filing systems. Acting as a resource for employees, the position upholds confidentiality, supports the company's mission and values, and contributes to a positive and compliant workplace environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Plan, organize, and facilitate employee training sessions.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of pre-boarding materials, including manuals, presentations, and online content.
  • Maintain accurate training records, such as attendance, evaluations, and feedback.
  • Prepare reports summarizing training outcomes, effectiveness, and areas of improvement.
  • Assists in the preparation and collection of documents for investigations.
  • Route physical, electronic, and voicemail to designated locations.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees as needed.
  • Assists with maintaining electronic filing system in accordance with company standards
  • Process documents in compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Uphold the Company's Mission and Values
  • Maintains confidentiality of records
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to various training platforms and delivery methods.
  • Comfort with technology and capability to troubleshoot basic issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience with learning management systems (UKG Pro Learning - highly preferable)
  • Effective and appropriate written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to participate in a highly effective team.
  • Ability to learn and apply new technology to job requirements.
  • Knowledge of basic administrative procedures and terminology.
  • Must be capable of possessing sensitive and confidential information and know when to share such information with the appropriate party.

  • Work is performed in a typical office setting.
