Compensation: $21.30/hour
Location: Reside Seattle Downtown - 104 Pine Street
Schedule: Days will vary, shift is 9:00am - 6:00pm. *Schedules may change based on business needs. May include holidays and alternate workdays or hours as needed.

About the job:
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas in accordance with hospitality standards. This position plays a vital role in ensuring guest satisfaction by providing a clean, welcoming, and safe environment, contributing to the hotel's overall guest experience and reputation.
What you'll be doing:
  • Clean, dust, and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public spaces following established procedures and checklists.
  • Make beds, replace linens, and replenish guest amenities such as towels, toiletries, and beverages.
  • Sweep, vacuum, mop, and polish floors as needed.
  • Inspect rooms for maintenance issues, damage, or missing items and promptly report to the supervisor.
  • Follow proper chemical handling and cleaning supply usage guidelines.
  • Remove trash, recyclables, and soiled linens to designated collection areas.
  • Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in a clean, organized, and stocked condition.
  • Comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as hotel policies and procedures.
  • Use proper two-way radio etiquette at all times when communicating with other employees by radio.
  • Greet guests warmly when encountered, offer assistance when appropriate, and maintain professional courtesy in all interactions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Respond to guest requests in a professional, timely, and courteous manner. Escalate requests to the appropriate department if necessary.
  • Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects or seasonal deep cleaning tasks.
  • To support our goal of exceeding customer expectations, the role may include acts of porterage for customer arrivals, requests, or service resolutions.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This position does not supervise any employees.
  • May also provide cross-training for staff.

About you:
What you'll bring:
  • Minimum of 1 year hospitality experience is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience in a hotel or hospitality setting preferred but not required.

  • Lift, push, and pull objects up to 25-30 lbs. frequently, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Repetitive motion tasks such as mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
  • Ability to climb stairs and operate housekeeping carts.
  • Extended periods of physical activity during an 8-hour shift.
