Home Instead is hiring experienced, dependable caregivers to help older adults live safely and comfortably at home—with flexible part-time shifts that can fit your schedule.

Flexible Part-Time Shifts in Carlisle and Indianola

Mornings: 8 AM–12 PM
Afternoons: 1 PM–5 PM

Who We're Looking For

Previous caregiving experience providing personal care is required for these opportunities.

You may be a strong fit if you have experience:

  • Providing hands-on personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)

  • Assisting with mobility, transfers, or standby support while helping clients move safely and confidently

  • Supporting older adults who need more than companionship and benefit from a caregiver who is comfortable stepping in with personal care

  • Caring for individuals living with dementia or memory-related conditions, or applying dementia-care techniques learned through training

  • Following an individualized care plan, respecting client routines and preferences, and communicating changes or concerns to the care team

  • Working professionally in clients' private homes, including dog-friendly homes

Reliable transportation is required for some client assignments.
