Job description

EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES WILL BE ACKNOWLEDGED.

MUST PASS A COMPLETE BACKGROUND CHECK

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and monitoring Import, exports, and domestic traffic
  • Ensuring assets and communications are used effectively
  • Utilizing logistics knowledge to optimize shipping and transport procedures
  • ACE system entries (Preferred experience with using)
  • Communicate with vendors, agents, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
  • Plan and track shipments according to their own requirements
  • Prepare accurate reports for upper management
  • Invoice customers for services rendered
  • Review and approve invoices from vendors, subcontractors and agents pertaining to shipments/services coordinated
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Great record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
  • Computer and data entry-savvy with a working knowledge of excel, word and internet
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities

Qualifications must include:

  • Minimum of 2 years Import / Export Forwarding & Customer Service experience
  • Knowledge of Excel, word, and internet
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to multiple internal software systems
  • Bilingual English/Spanish with proficiency in both languages is a plus
  • CLEAN BACKGROUND A MUST
