Import Assistant – Customs Brokerage

Laredo, TX
$18-$22/hour (DOE)
Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Join a growing Customs Brokerage team! We're seeking a detail-oriented Import Assistant to support daily import operations and customs documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with ISF filings and 7512 documentation
  • Prepare and review import-related paperwork
  • Support customs brokers with shipment processing
  • Maintain accurate records and update shipment data
  • Communicate with customers, carriers, and agencies as needed

Qualifications:

  • Experience in customs brokerage, logistics, freight forwarding, or import/export preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
