Manager, Global Trade Compliance (IMMEX Focus)

Location: DFW, TX or Mexico (Hybrid/Remote)


Role Summary

We are seeking a Global Trade Compliance Manager with strong IMMEX experience to support the continued development and strengthening of Mexico import/export compliance processes. This role will focus on enhancing Annex 24/31 processes, improving data consistency, and supporting cross-functional initiatives to strengthen trade compliance governance and reporting.

The position will partner closely with internal teams and external advisors to support process improvements, data alignment, and ongoing compliance effectiveness across Mexico operations.


Key Responsibilities

IMMEX Program Support (Annex 24/31)

  • Support the ongoing maintenance and improvement of Annex 24 and Annex 31 processes
  • Help ensure accurate and timely integration of import/export data into IMMEX reporting systems
  • Identify opportunities to improve data accuracy and consistency within existing processes

Project & Process Support (External Partner Coordination)

  • Coordinate with external consulting partners on process improvement and data-related initiatives
  • Support project activities including tracking deliverables, timelines, and cross-functional coordination
  • Assist in aligning customs data across systems and reporting requirements

BOM & Data Alignment

  • Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, and IT teams to support processes related to BOM updates and product changes
  • Help ensure changes are appropriately reflected in customs classification, origin, and valuation data
  • Support development of consistent processes for tracking product and material changes

Controls & Compliance Governance

  • Support the development and maintenance of internal controls related to IMMEX and trade compliance activities
  • Assist in documentation standards and audit readiness efforts
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in compliance reporting and monitoring processes

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, IT, and external brokers
  • Support coordination between Mexico and U.S. trade compliance stakeholders
  • Serve as a point of contact for trade compliance-related operational questions

Required Qualifications

  • 5โ€“8 years of experience in global trade compliance, customs, or import/export operations
  • Strong IMMEX experience, including Annex 24 and/or Annex 31 exposure
  • Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or complex supply chain environments preferred
  • Experience working in cross-functional or project-based environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Exposure to BOM structures or product data management processes
  • Experience working in Mexicoโ€“U.S. trade environments
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
