CLX Engineering's Implementation Manager is responsible for the successful execution of airport baggage handling and industrial automation projects. Serving as the primary field coordination lead, this role ensures implementation activities are planned, organized, and executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project objectives.


Working closely with Project Managers, engineering teams, customers, subcontractors, and airport stakeholders, the Implementation Manager coordinates site activities, removes obstacles, manages priorities, and drives projects to successful completion.


The ideal candidate combines strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills with practical experience in automation, material handling, airport, theme park, or industrial project environments.


Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Coordination

  • Lead day-to-day implementation activities for one or more projects.
  • Coordinate customers, subcontractors, suppliers, engineering teams, and field personnel.
  • Manage implementation schedules, site activities, and project priorities.
  • Identify risks, conflicts, and delays, driving resolution or escalation as needed.
  • Ensure work aligns with project requirements, operational needs, and design intent.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a primary point of contact during implementation activities.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers, airport personnel, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate collaboration and remove obstacles to project success.
  • Keep stakeholders aligned through proactive communication, clear expectations, and timely decision-making.
  • Represent CLX during project meetings, site reviews, and implementation planning activities.

  • Employees based near Sanford, FL or Atlanta, GA should expect approximately 65%+ travel, depending on project requirements.
