CTG is seeking to fill a Project Manager opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.

Location: Buffalo, NY
Duration: 6 months

Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee high-priority projects that affect multiple business areas. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex projects from initiation to close while ensuring alignment with stakeholders and project objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage high-priority projects impacting three or more business functions, ensuring effective integration of resources.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets, in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Communicate project status, changes, and expectations clearly to all stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.
  • Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Foster team cohesiveness by mentoring and motivating team members to enhance project efficiency and morale.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, escalating issues to management as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards, policies, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project deliverables and ensure execution aligns with project goals and objectives.
  • Manage budget forecasts and control project expenditures.
  • Coordinate with diverse teams, ensuring all roles and responsibilities are clear and understood.
  • Complete additional related duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of proven project management experience, OR
  • A combined minimum of 6 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 4 years of proven project management experience or a minimum of 3 years of proven project management experience.
  • Proficiency with personal computers and relevant software packages.

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Business Analyst experience, particularly in supporting and implementing applications from a business perspective.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to manage initiatives with minimal oversight.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
