HCH Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Project Manager - RHTP Medical Respite. This is a full-time position with HCH Enterprises, LLC and a contract position with the State of Rhode Island.

General State of Duties:

Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join a dynamic team. The desired candidate will work within the Policy and Strategy team managing contractual, budgetary, performance, and operations of the recuperative care (medical respite) project within EOHHS and will serve as an interagency Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) liaison with other behavioral health projects. This role requires advanced project management experience and skills including experience with using SharePoint and Microsoft Teams applications, project management platforms, interpersonal relationships, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The overall responsibility of the ideal candidate will be to manage the implementation and project management of a complex rural health contract and to report milestones, performance, budgetary updates, and other information to EOHHS’ Rural Health Transformation team.


Responsibilities include the following:

  • To procure and manage the planning, implementation, and performance of a complex medical respite program.
  • To record and disseminate budgetary and programmatic progress reports as required by CMS.
  • Active contract management including program performance, quality improvement, milestones, expenditures, budgetary requests, and other tasks as needed.
  • Serve as the project manager working closely with stakeholders both through verbal and written communication, including but not limited to supporting internal and external meetings and events and maintaining notes and action items for the rural health medical respite project(s).
  • Develop and document best practices through the development of tracking systems, records/file management, process development, and standard operating procedures to ensure organization, communication, and overall effective and efficient project management.


Skills and abilities include:
  • Advanced project management experience including grant writing, budget development, evaluation, performance improvement, and experience working in health care systems.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in user-friendly formats including infographics, PowerPoint presentations, Word, and Excel documents.
  • Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team to prepare and organize materials, professional documents, written communication, and project management tools and trackers.
  • Excellent writing skills and proven ability to organize and complete tasks successfully and proficiently within timelines.
  • Creative, self-motivated problem solver who can troubleshoot issues in a time sensitive environment.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Education and experience requirements include:
  • Proven experience as a project manager (5+ years).
  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field.
