Since 1969, we've led the industry in developing innovative technologies for recycling scrap into high-quality steels that are all around us, from bridges and buildings to cars and appliances. Basic Job Functions: The Project Manager is responsible for establishing strong customer relationships and managing all post-sale activities for assigned projects. Key responsibilities include reading and interpreting contract drawings, engineering documents, and production orders; identifying and communicating potential issues or delays; and offering cost-effective solutions to support successful project execution. This position requires maintaining the highest standards of service through professional, informative, and responsive written and verbal communication with both internal and external customers. The Project Manager will facilitate effective communication between external customers, the project team, and internal departments, while coordinating internal resources and external vendors to ensure projects are completed successfully. This position is available at several locations, including Rock Hill, SC; Federal Way, WA; Duluth, GA; and Middletown, NJ. This role may require time spent at our Rock Hill, SC headquarters for an initial training period. The Inside Project Manager must have a valid driver’s license, and travel is required. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Compensation: The pay range for this position is $75K–$123K annually. The starting rate offered will be based on the candidate’s relevant work experience. This role may be eligible for additional performance-based bonuses. Minimum Requirements: Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in project management, sales service, operations, construction, manufacturing, or a related field. Preferences: Two (2) or more years of experience in the steel manufacturing industry. Two (2) or more years of experience in project management, customer service, or sales service. Project Management Certificate or related degree preferred.
