Overview:

Works as a Consulting Team member or an Individual Consultant on for-fee product implementation, enhancement or integration projects. Expertise and work efforts focus primarily on the implementation of proprietary software products. Provides training, guidance and consulting services to CGC customers on product software. Duties are usually performed at customer?s site. Operates under general supervision. May also serve as pre-sales support specialist when needed.

Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:

  • Works on moderately complex projects, usually on single-product or single computer environments.
  • Analyzes customers? business requirements and software/product objectives; develops deployment design in products to meet customers? needs.
  • Estimates time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement projects; develops project plan incorporating all project variables.
  • Sees that appropriate company resources are assigned to complete project tasks according to plan. Establishes criteria concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design and costs.
  • Provides on-site customer training on software product and customized application.
  • Conducts periodic status checks with customers and team to assess progress against plan. Performs re-forecasts of project variables as necessary throughout project.
  • Prepares weekly status reports on all project activities
  • Provides management with daily report and weekly trip reports and assist on billable projects in-house
  • Acts as liaison between customers and company
