Job Description

What You Will Do


Business Process:

  • Participate in relevant workshops with system integrators and drive standardization of business processes leveraging out-of-the-box solutions in SAP for Manufacturing
  • Provide guidance to internal teams on best practices in adopting S/4 Hana out-of-the-box solutions in SAP PP, SAP QM and related modules
  • Create workarounds and drive alignment to workarounds in S/4 Hana to reduce RICEWF
  • Provide expertise in master data decisions related to Product, BOM and Routing
  • Understand the future roadmap for Process Manufacturing implementation and shape the design decisions in the initial phases
  • Participate in design decisions on integration with MES, JDA and Quality modules; bring best practices to table from past experiences

Configuration and Testing:

  • Configure SAP PP and related modules; develop scenarios for and test our requirements
  • Validate proposed solutions from system integrator
  • Review and drive configuration and testing outcomes with the system integrator teams

Data Migration

  • Contribute to Data Migration efforts working with business and IT
  • Provide guidance on as well as execute best practices in data cleansing and data extraction for migration

Training and Advisory

  • Provide training to internal teams on specific areas in SAP PP and related modules, as needed
  • Be in advisory role to business and IT for hands-on usage of S/4 Hana functionality
  • Keep pace with the evolving S/4 Hana roadmap, research and run internal Proof of Concept sessions, as needed, for better features and better alternatives in S/4 Hana to address business requirements as well as integration with other systems like MES and JDA
  • Develop skills for self and advise in modules like SAP PP-PI

What You Need

  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of working in SAP modules experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
  • Demonstrated experience with industry best practices and implementing SAP business processes
  • Experience in multiple end to end full life cycle SAP implementation projects and at least 1 end to end full life cycle SAP implementation on HANA.
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of the functional aspects of the analysis and design process and its associated documentation (ie. Functional specifications, test plans)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Math, Engineering or Business Administration plus 10 years of business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
  • Master's degree
  • Strong hands-on experience in configuring SAP PP and related modules
  • Implementation experience in S/4 Hana in Food and Beverage Industry, preferably Wine industry
  • BOM and Routing solutions in Discrete and Process Manufacturing in SAP
  • Good understanding of Quality Management in Manufacturing environments
  • Demonstrated aptitude to learn newer functionalities E.g.: SAP PP-PI
