Job description

TSC is seeking a forward-thinking & highly motivated MRP Implementation Lead to lead the deployment and optimization of Deltek CostPoint for our material requirements planning (MRP) system. This role is critical to ensuring the successful integration of CostPoint into our operations, streamlining processes, and enhancing efficiency across procurement, inventory control, and production planning. The ideal candidate is a collaborator who will proactively support the Operations and Supply Chain teams in a timely manner, who is able to work fast and under pressure, who works to understand operations and supply chain processes, assembles data, identifies problems, and provides recommendations that support program planning and operations.
The MRP Implementation Lead will oversee the end-to-end implementation of the Deltek CostPoint MRP system to include planning, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization of the system to ensure alignment with organizational goals and operational requirements. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and ensure the system is configured to optimize supply chain, procurement, and production planning processes. This is an onsite position supporting TSC's Huntsville, AL location reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation of Deltek CostPoint MRP, including planning, execution, and monitoring of project milestones.
  • Work with IT and Deltek consultants to configure the system to meet operational needs, including inventory management, procurement, and production planning.
  • Implement demand forecasting and production planning processes.
  • Partner with supply chain, operations, procurement, and finance teams to gather requirements and ensure the system supports business objectives.
  • Develop and document MRP policies and procedures aligned with defense contracting requirements.
  • Create and deliver training programs for end-users to ensure successful adoption of the system. Provide ongoing support during and after implementation.
  • Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and recommend improvements using CostPoint's capabilities.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the implementation process to ensure project success.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
  • Assist with the development of key performance indicators and dashboards related to inventory management, procurement, production planning, and program finance for executive reporting.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing MRP/ERP system implementations, preferably with Deltek CostPoint.
  • Proven track record of successful system deployment and process optimization.
  • Strong Knowledge of Deltek CostPoint MRP functionality.
  • Proficiency in data migration, system configuration, and integration with other business systems.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • US Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:
  • BA/BS Degree in Supply/Operations Management, Business Administration, Information technology or a related field.
  • Experience in an aerospace/defense manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with Government contracting and compliance requirements
  • APICS CPIM or PMP Certification
  • Knowledge of supply chain best practices and production planning
