Human Resources Manager 

KerberRose is seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to lead our Human Resources Department. 

At KerberRose, our Operations team is the backbone of our strategic growth. Comprising internal finance, human resources, and marketing professionals, we collaborate, communicate, and innovate to provide outstanding services to our team, clients, and community. The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. This role involves overseeing HR functions, including HR strategy, employee relations and engagement, performance management, compensation, and compliance.


Responsibilities

HR Strategy

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support KerberRose's goals and objectives, under direction of Firm's strategic plan and in collaboration with HR Committee.
  • Develop and monitor HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs. 
  • Lead the Human Resources Committee by outlining annual goals and facilitating monthly meetings with proposals and recommendations for policy, process, and benefits adjustments/improvements.
  • Oversee the internal human resources team, including 2 individuals. 


Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Develop and implement retention strategies to minimize turnover and enhance team member satisfaction. 
  • Manage team member relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Lead initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture and improve team member engagement.
  • Manage Firm engagement surveys, including external team member engagement survey and internal Upward Survey for leadership.
  • Compensation
  • Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain team members. 
  • Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure market competitiveness, and support leaders in compensation decisions.


Performance Management

  • Implement and manage performance management systems to ensure continuous improvement and development.
  • Provide coaching and support to leaders and team members on performance-related matters.


Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Serve as primary point of contact and liaison with legal counsel, overseeing employment contracts, non-solicitation agreements, severance agreements, and compliance with emerging employment laws.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in an HR leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software; Paylocity is a plus.
