Life Enrichment Coordinator

Location: Ovation Communities — Jewish Home & Care Center 

Ovation Communities is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator who plays a vital role in enriching the lives of residents by planning, organizing, and implementing engaging recreational, social, educational, and wellness-based programs. This individual fosters a vibrant and inclusive environment that promotes physical, mental, and emotional well-being for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of daily, weekly, and monthly activity programs based on the interests and needs of residents.
  2. Lead group and one-on-one activities, including games, arts and crafts, music, exercise, educational sessions, and outings.
  3. Encourage resident participation and provide support to ensure inclusivity for individuals with varying levels of ability.
  4. Support special events and holiday celebrations, including setup, takedown, and coordination with other departments.
  5. Assist with maintaining the monthly activity calendar and distributing it to residents and staff.
  6. Maintain accurate records of attendance and participation in programs.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.  Advanced degree in Music, Art or other therapy preferred.
  • At least one (1) year experience working in life enrichment and/or planning activities.
